Promoting Responsible Reporting on Gender-Based Violence

The goal of our project is to guarantee a women’s right to freedom from gender-based violence (GBV) through best practices in media coverage. In collaboration with Networks of Change and working with local NGOs and media in Working Groups across Morocco, we have established a baseline on reporting on GBV and identified priorities for change, followed by activities to transform media reporting by creating Morocco-specific Arabic language resources and practical tools for journalists and conducting national and regional trainings.
